Dr. Jace James
Dr. James received his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of British Columbia in 2018. After graduation, Dr. James moved back to Alberta where he has made Calgary his home.
Growing up, Dr. James was inspired by his family dentist in his hometown Lethbridge, Alberta. He always thought the dental office was an interesting and exciting place. As a dentist, Dr. James strives to make his patients feel this same way. He focuses on offering his patients the highest standard of care while making them feel as comfortable as possible. While the dentist can be daunting, Dr. James believes in building strong relationships with his patients by bringing values, ethics, and a sense of humor to his practice.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. James enjoys spending time with his family, friends, and his partner and their bernedoodle, June. Some of his hobbies include hiking, cooking, and candle making.
Dr. Kevin Lee
Dr. Kevin Lee obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Alberta. Prior to his dental education, he studied at the University of Calgary and the University of Alberta to obtain a BSc degree in Medical Sciences.
Dr. Lee was born in South Korea but immigrated to Canada at the age of 3 and has called Calgary his home ever since!
Dr. Lee enjoys all aspects of dentistry and strives to help patients achieve their oral health goals. In addition to general dental treatments, Dr Lee is a certified Invisalign provider, and he has also obtained his certification for Botox neuromodulator therapies from the University of Alberta to treat TMJ and cosmetic concerns.
As a big sports lover, Dr. Lee grew up playing many sports such as basketball, soccer, volleyball and tennis. However, nowadays he can mostly be found playing a round of golf with friends and family in his free time.
Dr. Russell Irodenko
Dr. Iaroslav Irodenko started his dental education with obtaining a Diploma of Dental Technology in 1996. After working for several years with his father at their private practice in Kiev, Ukraine Iaroslav pursued further dental training in Kiev State Medical University, followed by Internship program at Schupik Medical School of Continued Studies.
After immigrating to Canada, Dr. Irodenko obtained a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University of Western Ontario in 2013. Currently, he is a member in good standing of the Alberta Dental Association and College and is licensed to perform Level II Conscious sedation in Alberta. During his career Dr. Irodenko worked as a Dental Technician, Denturist and a Dentist.
Iaroslav is the father of two boys. He loves spending time with his family, enjoying the great natural beauty of Canada through camping, skiing, boating and sustainable travel.

Dental Assistants
Ivanna
Ivanna graduated from KDM Dental College and recently received her Orthodontic Module certificate from Columbia College. She has been a part of Viva Dental since 2019.
Ivanna is delighted to work with the rest of the team in providing exceptional patient care. She is extremely supportive, compassionate and gentle.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her two kids and husband outdoors. She also likes hiking, spending time with friends and she aspires to travel all over the world.
"I will do my best to ensure that our patients fully understand their dental treatment and options. I look forward to meeting all of you and giving you the best care."
Carol
Carol graduated from KDM Dental College and she is a member of good standing with the Institution of Alberta. She also obtained her Orthodontic Certification from the University of Alberta.
Carol has worked in the dental field since 2012. In 2019 she received her Certification for Preventative Dentistry from SAIT which allows her to perform hygiene on children and healthy adults.
She has a passion for health, wellness and beauty. She enjoys reading and staying active in her spare time with family and friends.

Iva
Iva graduated from KDM Dental College with an Orthodontic Module and she has enjoyed working in the dental field for over 8 years.
Iva was born and raised in Cuba. Her native language is Spanish.
On her time off, she enjoys going for walks, writing poems, and spending time with friends and family. She also enjoys learning and keeping herself updated with new dental skills.
She is a person who agrees ”Knowledge is the key and power to success in life”.

Alona
Alona graduated from KDM Dental College and became a registered dental assistant in 2019.
She enjoys getting to know each patient and providing a personal touch for each visit. She appreciates the team approach to providing the highest level of care possible.
In her spare time, Alona enjoys skiing, being outdoors, and, most of all, loves spending time with her family and friends.

Dental Hygienists
Gillian
Gillian studied Dental Hygiene in Toronto, Ontario and has over 15 years’ experience in the dental field. She is passionate about dentistry and couldn’t imagine another career.
Gillian enjoys meeting new people and educating them in oral hygiene and its relation to overall health. She loves to see their progress and effort in maintaining good oral hygiene habits. Gillian can speak both English and Spanish for her patients.
In her spare time, Gillian enjoys spending time with her family, listening to music, dancing, and cheering for her MVP.
Gillian appreciates working at Viva Dental with such a dedicated team of professionals who provide high quality dental care to their patients.
Leticia
Leticia is a registered dental hygienist and has been practicing since 2017.
She was previously a registered dental assistant with her orthodontic module and has been in the dental field since 2011.
In her free time you can catch Leticia boating or camping with her family in Sylvan Lake.

Selina
Selina began her dental career in 2014 as a dental assistant, showcasing her dedication to patient care. In 2019, she graduated dental hygiene in Toronto, emphasizing preventive care and patient education. Outside of work, Selina loves being with her family and friends, going to the gym and enjoying motherhood.
Office Administration
Olga
Olga has been with Viva Dental since the clinic opened in 2018.
She takes pride in helping patients feel welcomed and comfortable in the office.
Olga is also responsible for ensuring that the clinic runs smoothly. She is compassionate, understanding, and willing to go the extra mile to earn our patients trust.
Olga was born and raised in Ukraine where she obtained a Master's Degree in Economics.
She loves traveling and exploring new places with her family.

Valeriya
Valeriya has been a dental administrator since 2013 and is one of the friendly faces you first see upon your arrival to the clinic. She ensures everything goes as smoothly as possible before and after your appointment.
Valeriya speaks English and Russian.
She is happily married and has two amazing kids.
In her spare time, Valeriya enjoys walking, camping and spending quality time with her friends and family.

Wenndy
Wenndy has been working in the customer service field for many years. She is one of the first to greet our patients, when they visit our dental clinic.
Wenndy was born and raised in El Salvador and she is proud to speak Spanish as her native language.
She is married with 2 wonderful sons.
In her free time, Wenndy love to play BKB, soccer, dance, sing, bike, cook, read a good book.
One of her passions is to help as a volunteer in the Catholic Church that she attends with her family.
