Do I need to call up front or book an appointment?
If you're experiencing a dental emergency, call us immediately at 403-475-8482. We will do our best to fit you in right away. If you walk in, we will try our best to accommodate you.
Do you accept dental insurance?
Yes, we accept dental insurance and will assist with coordination with your insurance provider. Having said that, we provide help with Insurance claims as part of our service to our patients. Please note: as a subscriber and an Insurance policy holder you are responsible for settling all disagreements with insurance company’s decisions not to cover any portion of your payment with them. Our staff can not be your legal representative in navigating these issues. By becoming a patient at Viva Dental and consenting to the proposed treatment you are entering a financing agreement with Viva Dental directly. Please carefully review the New Patient form and Financial agreement before signing. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
Do I need to pay first or can you bill to my insurance company directly?
This may be a tricky question, because each insurance policy may differ. Oftentimes insurance companies may require further information from the dentist. Sometimes they may not release any information to us, and the claim response may take up to 6 weeks to arrive in the mail. Having said that, we will do our best to verify, on your behalf, the coverage on your insurance plan (Predetermination Claim) and proceed with collecting payment directly from your insurance company.
Do you have free parking available?
Yes, our office location has free parking. Please note that if you park directly in front of the mall- parking limit is 1h. If you are parked in the parking lot- parking limit is 2H. If you are planning to spend more time in our office- please notify the receptionist. Also, we offer designated parking stall right in front of our door (30 min limit). We are conventionally located in Midnapore Shopping Mall in SE Calgary. Our address is 240 MIDPARK WAY SE Unit 17, Calgary, AB T2X 1N4.
Do you accept emergency appointments from someone that's not already a patient?
Yes, if you are not an existing patient of Viva Dental, you can call us if you are experiencing a dental emergency. We will do our best to schedule you in as soon as possible. Upon arrival to our office our front desk staff will walk you through the necessary forms you need to fill out. Feel free to ask any questions. If you require more information, contact us.
